Originally trained in plant-based and integrative nutrition and holistic health consulting, I have been working with and educating people from all over the US for almost 10 years through my specialized nutrition, wellness and mindfulness meditation protocols.
I am the author of two published books, Holistic Wellness and The Vegetarian Cookbook for Teens. I founded an online publication in 2013, Balanced Babe, where you can find over 700 articles on various holistic health topics, recipes and so much more! I also have a podcast, Simplified With Sarah, where I focus on offering simplified tips to make wellness and nutrition seem a bit less overwhelming. I also teach meditation and multi-sensory rituals through Sense Sanctuary; a healing wellness brand that offers meditative workshops and classes, and healing services. You can also find me regularly contributing wellness correspondence to various Chicago morning shows such as ABC’s Windy City Live, Good Day Chicago Fox, WCIU The Jam, WGN Midday News and more
